Meet Dr. Trisha Vo
Special Care Dentist in Fountain Valley, CA
Dr. Trisha Vo completed her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. She then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. While in dental school, Dr. Trisha was selected for a dental oncology and hospital dentistry externship at Stanford Hospital for medically complex and special care patients. After graduation, Dr. Trisha went on to complete a General Practice Residency with emphasis on special care dentistry at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, CA.
Her education and experiences fueled her passion for addressing the lack of dental providers available for special needs patients after they age out of traditional pediatric dental practices.
Dr. Trisha has dedicated her career to caring for the dentally underserved. Since 2020, she has provided comprehensive dental care to geriatric and dementia patients in assisted living and memory care centers, as well as PACE (Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) centers throughout Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Riverside counties. She also worked for a non-profit organization (Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County) in mobile settings, specializing in treating children, teenagers, and adults with complex medical, developmental and cognitive disabilities. Dr. Trisha’s love for special care dentistry and desire to make excellent dental care more accessible to patients propelled her to establish Elements Dentistry.
Dr. Trisha considers herself a lifelong learner. She is a graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, WA. She continues to improve her skills by pursuing postgraduate training from the California Implant Institute in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Trisha’s hobbies include Pilates, cycling, and photographing/painting nature and community events. (If you see her at the Orange County Special Olympics with her camera, say hi!) She also loves to catch concerts, musicals, and ballets with Dr. Tiffany at the Segerstrom Center of the Arts.

We were having a horrible experience with another dentist with my other son and we needed to get some work done on my other son who is non verbal and autistic. I began searching online for a new dentist and I came across Elements Dentistry. We took him in so they could check a swollen gum and gravity they we knew he had and another dentist told us he would need to be put under and have surgery. Well Dr. Trisha examined him and told us that the swollen gum was due to an adult tooth that was coming out and that the baby tooth could be pulled very quickly and easily right there and now. My wife and I were stunned because the other dentist said he needed surgery for this. We said that would be great and Dr. Trisha did just that very quickly and one of my sons problems was gone in a matter of minutes but we still needed to get the cavity taken care of. So Dr. Trisha helped us with everything and explained it all to us, for what my son needed. So we set up he’s surgery date at a place in Laguna Hills called MobiSurg in a couple weeks. Because of my sons condition he needed to have his procedure done early in the morning and Dr. Trisha moved some other patients around to accommodate us. So the day of his Surgery came and the whole procedure took only 1 hour and everything went perfect. My wife and I are so happy that we found Elements Dentistry and Dr. Trisha. We feel like we have now finally found our family dentist that we can all go to and trust. They are great working with my autistic son and they run a good honest professional place that you can trust will take care of you family. Namaste!!Posted on Rachel PharnNovember 25, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I grew up going to family members who were dentists, so I’ve always been particular about where I go for my dental care. When I found out that my lifelong family friends Tiffany and Trisha had opened their own practice, I was instantly intrigued, not just because I’ve known them for years but because their office combines modern, state-of-the-art equipment with a genuinely welcoming and calming environment. They run their practice with a level of excellence and integrity that is rare to find. Everything is focused on longevity, premium care, and making sure patients feel completely supported from the moment they walk in. I also have very high anxiety when it comes to the dentist, and I’ve never felt as safe as I do here, truly ever. I avoided removing my remaining wisdom teeth for almost 15 years because the first experience elsewhere was so traumatic. But I felt grounded enough here to finally do it, and it was honestly night and day. Shoutout to Kalvyn who removed my wisdom teeth with so much kindness, patience, and encouragement. Mariana was an absolute angel and held my hand during the entire procedure, keeping me calm the whole time. Michelle and Cate were also right there making sure I felt at ease every step of the way. And the weighted blanket was a complete game changer. I’ve also received high quality fillers here and feel so much more confident knowing I’m getting the best and most trustworthy advice for my long-term dental health. I highly recommend this practice. If you want modern methods, compassionate care, and a team that truly goes above and beyond, this is the place.Posted on Antonio vaglientyNovember 15, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I were to describe Elements Dentistry in a single word, I would choose “revolutionary.” I discovered this dental practice through an online search and was in urgent need of an emergency extraction of my wisdom tooth due to severe pain. Elements Dentistry was able to accommodate me on the same day and provide the necessary assistance. The entire staff exudes genuine warmth and is deeply passionate about their work and patient care. They thoroughly explained the procedure before and after the surgery. Additionally, they provided weighted blankets and stress balls during the operation. I have never visited a dental office where I felt so serene and confident in the expertise of the professionals. I highly recommend Elements Dentistry to anyone I know and intend to return soon. Did I mention everyone there is extremely friendly?! 10/10Posted on Adam Vu NoirOctober 31, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The best dental experience I’ve ever had — hands down. I usually get major anxiety going to the dentist, but Dr. Tiffany and Dr. Trisha are absolute pros at making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Their office is equipped with the most up-to-date tools and technology, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I even brought my two-year-old daughter in, and thanks to their incredible patience and gentle approach with kids, she sat calmly the entire time! I couldn’t recommend a better dental team!Posted on james carrOctober 29, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I worked with Dr. Trisha Vo: I came in for a special procedure, and it was done exceptionally well. After my surgery, I received a thorough consultation, which I also liked. What I really appreciate about this place is how quickly they respond whenever I have questions via text and phone, usually within 30 minutes, and sometimes immediately. That kind of responsiveness really helps ease my nerves during the post-operation recovery process.Posted on David LaiOctober 28, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently changed dental insurance and was recommended to check out this dental office. I'm really glad I did because I had such a pleasant experience compared to other dentists that I've seen over the years. I had Dr. Tiffany Vo as my dentist and for the new patient appointment, she gave an extremely comprehensive overview of my current dental health as well as preventative measures to preserve my teeth for the future. She explained things in great detail and helped me understand the "why" of things she would recommend. Rather than just telling me I should just do a procedure or actions to take for better teeth health, she went through all the reasons that informed her recommendations. Whenever I had a question or wanted more clarification, she did not brush away my concerns and gave the same genuine care that she did the entire time. I cannot recommend this dental office enough and am grateful to have found a dentist that I can rely on for all my dental needs.Posted on Willow BrownOctober 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have the biggest fear of the dentist. I was absolutely terrified to go to this appointment. But once I walked into elements dentistry I felt understood and cared for. Dr Trisha was so kind and helped me figure out the plan for my teeth. She made it so easy.Posted on SusieOctober 8, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Trisha Vợ did an amazing job getting my mom’s teeth cleaned using water scaler so it was very gentle, treated mom with fluoride and got it all done within the time alotted. My mom has severe dementia and has refused to get treated at other dentists’ offices in the past year. We even had to get her sedated at other places but Dr Vợ did it without any sedation. Having the tv in the room also helped to distract her but mostly it was Dr Vo’s patience, gentle nature, and experience with special needs patients that made the difference. The receptionist was also very knowledgeable and informative about the side effects of anesthesia and having realistic expectations in dealing with special needs patients that may require multiple visits, but we got a lot done on our first visit that was beyond my expectations!Posted on Amalia RolfSeptember 27, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. De Trisha is great! And her team is amazing too. I've had to change dentists because they incorrectly billed me or the dentist just was not great and had outdated techniques/technologies. Dr. Vo and her team are very knowledgeable and up to date on anything teeth. They set up a treatment plan with me and showed me the optional treatments to prevent more expensive treatments. She speaks very truthfully and so sweet at the same time!
